What Do We Offer
At RDP Live we have carefully considered just what our customers want and need from their IT support. Some support programs require you to sign up to an annual contract and/or pay monthly subscriptions for a service you may not even need to use within that period. Most users do not have regular IT problems, so why should you pay for constant support

The first job of our technicians is to gather the customers information and to determine the issue by analyzing the symptoms and diagnosing the underlying problem. When analyzing the symptoms, it is important for our technician to identify what you are trying to accomplish so that time is not wasted on "attempting to solve a symptom instead of a problem." Once identification of the underlying problem is established, the support team can begin identifying the most applicable solution.
Our technicians regularly deal with issues such as uninstalling/reinstalling software applications, verification of proper hardware and software set up, and assistance with navigating around application menus.

Remote PC repair or Remote Computer repair is a method for troubleshooting software related problems via remote desktop connections. Technicians use software that allows the technician to access the user's desktop via the Internet. With the user's permission, the technician can take control of the user's mouse and keyboard, transfer various diagnostic and repair applications to the user's desktop, run scans, install antivirus programs, etc. If the remote service permits it, the technician can even reboot the computer and reconnect remotely to continue his work without the user needing to assist.
Common repairs available using this method include but are not limited to Data Backup, Data Recovery, Computer Virus and Spyware removal, Software Instalation, Software Configuration, Computer Optimisation, Registry Repair, Device Driver issues, Web Browser related issues, Wireless and Networking Configuration, and Windows Security updates. Generally, only software can be "repaired" remotely. A computer with a broken hardware component such as a motherboard or hard disk can in some cases be diagnosed, but must be repaired in person.
Would My Personal Information Be Protected
Absolutely! At RDP Live we use a premium secure connection and our trusted technicians would initially try to diagnose your problem prior to logging in to your computer. The Login to your computer is primarily approved by you typing in a unique code and this can be terminated at any point by you. We do not have access to your computer without your permission at any point. Whilst the technician is operating your computer, you can see what the technician types and where your mouse pointer is directed. This should abate any concerns you may have with granting access to your personal files.
At the end of the log-in session, you will be able to see that the technician is no longer operating your computer and cannot do so again without your permission and a further code being acquired
